Bracknell Meet - Breakfast Tunnel Run - Sunday 7 July
Discussion
It is nearly two years since I ran the Tunnel Run drive and a few people have asked if I'd do it again, so here it is, Sunday 7th July.
We will meet at Ockham Common car park, just off the M25 J10 / A3 junction (closest postcode is KT11 1ND, actual car park is next to the A3) at 7am, aiming to depart at 7:30am.
The route will take us down the A3, through the Hindhead tunnel, a quick u-turn and back through the north-bound side. From there we'll take in a scenic route through the Surrey/Hampshire/Berkshire countryside before ending up at our breakfast stop, at approximately 9am.
The cafe does a small English breakfast for £3.95, a large one for £4.95, tea for £1 and coffee £1.35, plus lots of other options of meals and drinks.
Also, let me know if you have an ultra low car (bog standard lowering is ok) as the route off the A3 has speed humps. If there's lots of you then I will try to find an alternative route, if it's just one or two then it may be you have to detour and pick up the run at another point.
Names as soon as possible, please and whether you will be having breakfast.

Nash Aming plus breakkie, rather low car
Ok, we're coming off the A3 at Thursley and the road has a series of speed humps, in particular the first one. http://goo.gl/maps/sweRp Someone last time got stranded on it. You might be able to mount the kerb so that your undercarriage is over the gap rather than over the hump. If you think it's going to be a problem it may be better for you to detour up to Frensham and we'll pick you up there. We can discuss on Sunday.Planet Claire said:
