NONCU Tax code?
Discussion
Due to cock up with my company moving to a new company on April 1st, I have been deducted too much tax during April & May's pay with my tax code being "0T CUMUL", which I believe means that I had no tax free allowance and have been taxed on the lot? They now have my tax code for 2013/14 and will rectify for June's pay.
But when I first spotted this I checked my payslip from March, and my tax code was "630L NONCU". I'm fine with the 630L, but a Google search revels NONCU means non-cumulative, but what does that actually mean? They have been assessing my tax monthly, rather yearly? Why would they do that? To what end?
Have I been paying too much/little tax?
My tax code for 2013/14 is 734L it has any bearing on anything?
