Ted,

What are the criteria under which a topic is closed? I posted on Lime flavoured KitKats a couple of days ago and the topic was closed after 5 posts. Curious to know why?

Because this is a car site intended for talking about cars

The more off-topic threads are fodder for the delete key from time to time in an effort to keep things sane.

I think the criteria for GG is it has to be of "General interest", i.e. stuff car owners would talk about down the pub (except Footy and Big Brother)

Surely lime flavour KitKats would come above Big Brother and Footy in the catalogue of conversation enjoyed over a pint by PHers in the snug bar of the Camshaft and Tappet?

By the by, "topic closed" brings to mind the bastardisation of the old Topic choccy bar tv ad of the 70's enjoyed by schoolboys everywhere, or at least at my school - "what has a hazelnut in every bite? - squirrel shite"!
