Hi perry
This looks like the day I first saw this car....load of us went there to watch...even had a run up the hill in my Cerb,
Am sure the chaps name was Dave Jones ....his son was helping him the car was stunning and sure it was quickest of the day....
I was so impressed with the standard of finish on this car I took his details and when the NEC Classic Car TVRCC stand was being put together (in memory to Peter Wheeler) I approached Dave to see if would display the car...he agreed.....we had. T400 and TMS Griff amongst others....
It was this car that most likely put the seed in my head for a road challenge car......now this car had been a road goer too, but Daventold me that it was not pleasant to drive on the road, so he changed it back to hill climb.
It looked sad at Oulton last year....but saw it again at Silverstone DTEC race, now it looks like it used to when I first it at Prescot...
Bit of a book this!

Thank you for your kind comment Steve. Here's a couple of pic's I took at Silverstone, before the biblical deluge! You are of course correct, this was Dave Jones hillclimb car - very successful by all accounts. Perhaps if Martin Crass would send me the hillclimb provenance book, I could share some of the history with you all
