make you feel so bad....

Yesterday I had to say goodbye to my pride and joy because I need to put the money into my new business venture....

I know I'm doing the right thing yet I feel sick in the stomach knowing that its gone....

Rob Ingleby picked it up and took it away to help sell it for me as spending most of my time abroad makes selling a car rather difficult.....

If anyone here ends up being the new owner of my baby, please look after it for me!!!!!

Waiting for the day when I can be back into the TVR fold so I can have an enormous grin once again....

Stay safe everyone...

Jnr.....when we bought our business in a management buyout, the company had a Pug 405sri on hp which Ray had picked himself.
He really liked the car and had spent ages looking at various models and choosing it.

It was the first thing that had to go when we bought the company cos we couldn't afford the repayments.

A few years down the line and, after spending those years throwing every penny back into the business, no holidays, not buying anything special for the home and just nose to the grindstone......he decided we could afford to ease up and bought the car of his dreams!

Money still gets put back into the company (far too much as far as I'm concerned ), but he has another car on order at the factory.

I can understand how you feel at the moment....but if you have a great idea for a business venture it would always niggle if you hadn't given it a shot.

Hopefully, in a few years you can get another TVR.
All you have to do now, is start planning what one you want....and by the time you can afford one...who knows what Mr TVRski will have on line!!!!!

Good Luck.....

Took me 10 years to save for the Griff (well the Chim at that time). It's pants that you've got to sell your car, but the feeling in your tummy never goes away and it's a great focus and motivator.

Hope to see you back with us again soon.

You wont last long before you get another.

Ask J_S_G. If I remember, he got rid of his cerbera for a business venture....and lasted a day. He bought a Tuscan.

Gemini, sweety, I could think of a number of pert remarks to make but, as it's you, I will refrain...

SXS...have I missed something on the forum or are you just having a bad keyboard day?

Yup - sorry about that, I cant remember getting on the net when I got home last night - it must have been why I found myself sleeping on the office floor this morning - the missis decided to lock the bedroom door... just downing a heavy curry to cure the hangover.... and back on the job tonight!....
