I think we are all interested to hear how much you missed your S and the reason for selling it in the first place.

He sold it to buy his Cerb, am I missing something here ?Oh! and welcome! Lots of helpful people on this forum
Kostas, congrats on getting your S back, they are extraordinary cars

Dear All thanks very much. I am just about to fly to scotland to collect, yes the car was cared for very well since a parted with it, during my ownership its had an lsd fiited, ss v8 exhuast, tuned the engine etc, since then new seats, chassis work and new suspension.
The cerb is a different animal, more planted more modern and very very fast if you push. The S however always felt lighter and more chuckable on country lanes, more traditional noise and interior, and gave me a different feeling like driving a hugely beefed up mx5.
so the current fleet is as follows, the S will be daily drive and commute (about 60m a day), the cerb summer, and good weather car, and selling my jag (4.0 lpg on ph) to get something "high" for the wife.
I am just hoping that when i drive it back it will be as i remember it!
