How are you accessing the forums? Have you come from the front page? And have you tried using www.pistonheads.com/gassing ?

And it'd probably help the techies when they see this to know what browser you're using.

All fine here. Chrome on W7 via
www.pistonheads.com/gassing/mytopics.asp
or homepage.

What theme are you using? Not the mobile beta perchance?

Arrgh, I can't access the full site on my iPhone. I don't like the mobile site, never have as I like seeing all the headlines on one page like the main site. How do I go back to the main site?

Pistonheads.com/default just brings me to the mobile site, not the main site like it used to

C & P from other thread:

When I load PH from my favourites it goes to http://www.pistonheads.com/ and but the layout is all messed up with a grey PH logo at the top left with all the links underneath it in text form and a plain white background. If I click go to desktop site from here it goes to the normal desktop layout though and when I click forum it goes to the normal forum layout?

When I click on Forums from the plain white page though it goes to http :// mobile . pistonheads . com / gassing / (had to add spaces as it was only showing http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/ without?)with the mobile forum page centred and narrow on my screen. If I click go to desktop site it takes me back to the plain white layout with text links.

I'm on IE6 on my work PC so yes it is old, but seems to be affecting the chap above who is on IE8.

All of mine is running as a mobile site just as the chap above has said, all text on the front page & then a mobile version in the forums. I've also tried clearing my history & trying again but that hasn't worked either. Im also running explorer (6 I think)

It's very odd that you're seeing the mobile version on your desktop. I would be interested to know if it's happened to anyone not using IE6.

However, for the rest of you... you can switch between mobile/desktop by scrolling down to the bottom.

Mine defaults to the mobile site, using IE6.

Can still access the main site by pasting the correct link into address bar though.

Long time lurker here, and I'm affected by the Mobile issue listed above - text only on the front page, mobile layout on the forums.

I'm browsing from work using IE8 frown

If I click the "view full website link" below it just takes me back to the main page where its all text as before. I think it must be an explorer problem though as I also have chrome & it works fine as normal on that
