Mercedes AMG engines with their own gearbox next year, for a 'long term' deal. Might help them move up the grid again.

They do seem to change engine supplier quiet often. I don't know how much this will help them as the Renault engine was hardly useless which leaves it to the chassis which is all down to them. Fingers crossed it works for them though.

They made so much of the new pairing with Renault based on past successes, seems strange it will be so short lived.

Williams GP will become to Mercedes what Torro Rosso is to Red Bull.

Toto's shares for engine deal? Renault's 2014 prices are known to be higher than Mercedes'. But the engines will be pretty much on a par.

Not sure how that would work though "Here you go, have my shares back and a crate with 12 nice factory fresh Merc powertrains."

I do wonder though if the worm is not turning against the young upstarts who have been throwing their toys out the pram since their boy wonder has fallen off his top pearch a little of late. Okay so Williams is unlikely to be a Q3 car every race but with the right power and a good car like last years then they could easily be another snapping at the heals of the Red Bulls a few time a year.

Likewise Toro Tosso are moving to French power next year so Williams might have been offered a deal by them to use another supplier in the hope of both RB A team and RB B team doing a top 10 job next year.
