I'm constantly surprised at the number and quality of the classics in Japan. Also that so many people are willing to get them out and rag them about. Top work!

Hints of Ferrari 250LM from the rear, but like you, found the shape "interesting" rather than beautiful...

But having never seen one before, I googled for more photos, and with big wheels and headlight fairings it can look quite nice:
