Seems I need a new one as the car won't start with it connected (keeps flooding, so I guess it thinks it is cold!) disconnected it starts and runs like a dream.

Any ideas on where to get a new one appreciated before I start trawling the interweb :-)

Where is it, what does it look like? Don't think I've got one or is yours an S3C, do they have one?

Hi, yep it is a S3C, although de-catted. Pic attached the white piece is screwed in, the black piece is the connector, so I assume it is the bit that screws in that I need, something like this?

Adrian, have you tested the ATS with a multimeter? If not, if you pm me with an email address I can send you a lot of data re the electronics which may help you, I assume you have the standard 2.9 with Bosch L-Jetronic EFI. Andy

Guys, massively interested in your thread. Sorry to jump onto your thread, I have just completed a body off rebuild of my S3 and had timing issues so car wouldn't run (set it 180deg out). Had it running a month or so ago but nothing other than a couple of coughs since and just end up with a flat battery. Fuel, spark, compression all fine, but very strong smell of fuel i.e. flooding.

Any ideas or stuff to check (connections/multimeter etc...)

Thanks
