Proper kettle on the Houx ? Or not.

Been camping on the Houx for the past four years but have never taken a proper kettle. We always use gas and a camping kettle but I'm getting a bit lazy and impatient these days so was wondering if a normal kettle will be ok what with the ridiculous amount of use the hook-up power points get. Will a kettle trip the power or not ? I know it sound daft as about 20 + people plug into about 6 outlets but I don't want to be the one who fks it up for everyone else. Advice please.

Not had a problem with ours. I do use a surge protected multiblock, but the lack of illumination on the 'your protected' LEDs makes me think it's not really doing much!

Martin, last time we went I took a cheap kettle from Tesco that I left for Simon and Andy, worked just fine with no trip outs.

As Desiato said it's no problem, it's the Chinese Lanterns that are donjerous.

In which case I will bring some made in Taiwan. They should be Double Dongerously Dongerous.

Sadly not, family commitments are keeping me away, hopefully back next year
