Another "Name that Song"

Sitting in a quiet restaurant, (hence couldn't really Shazam it) and there was a song playing, not usually my cuppa, but I almost recognised it but couldn't name it

Girl band, something like TLC but I don't think it was them, the verse is in a major key but the chorus goes to minor key and there are three lines where the pitch gradually lowers........

I know, I know, tall order but we're (YOU're!) good at this.
