Car wouldnt start after parking up for a few weeks?

Pump primed but no ignition,return key to neutral position,small electrical sound from engine area for approx 2 secs? Happens on every attempt.

Bump start her,she starts, then starts everytime everytime i take key in and out!!

The electrical sound when you turn key off is the stepper motor rewinding to be ready for the next start ...as for the no ignition lights I'm not sure as I sometimes experience the same symptoms, I think it might be one of the two relays in the passenger footwell sticking? One is for fuel and I think the other ignition.

Didnt think about the relays,but changed them a couple of year back.

Wonder if this issue is related to the other topic i have started this afternoon

Quite possibly, just ordered two new Bosch relays with diodes to replace the original silver items with red stripe on my car from eBay for £20 odd, figure at over 18 years old they could probably do with changing.
