just a couple of quickies.

is it better to bolt the rubber engine mounts to the engine first and then lower it in place, or did you leave them off to make it easier to jiggle everything in place..

it's a pita on the tuscan racer so we leave them off, but it i think there is a bitmore space in the chim chassis.

I don't think you'd get it in with them on... for sure I left them of when doing mine.. you have to get the past two upright tubes where they bolt and I dont think you can move it side to side to do that once its on the gearbox...

In my experience on the griff Definately easier left off, also tighten up the on side mounting bracket but leave the offside loose as its a very tight fit on the offside and you may need to loosen the bracket to fit the mount IYSWIM.
