Dry nose

Just before I take my old fella to the vets tomorrow I just thought I would ask the question his nose looks a little dry around edges and the parting in the middle, Is there any cream I can put on it that he wont lick off ? I think it is from digging in the garden, the soil has dried it up a bit.

If you have got any vaseline that might help.

When ah were a lad, we had a yellow lab with a dry nose.

My mum used to put a dab of Vaseline on every morning and evening, and this stopped it from cracking and being sore.
