June 2013 Photo Challenge - INSIDE THE PHOTO

Easy subject this month "Inside the Photo", can be interpreted in many different ways.

I'm looking for a photo that makes you feel like you're inside the scene, rather than standing back and watching.

Rules for the photo challenge:

• The shot MUST be taken this month, with the closing date being the 30th of June
• The exif must be posted with your shot
• Keep the images posted to a decent size please, 1024px wide max
• I will choose the winner this month (with the winner choosing the theme for next month, then deciding who should win that months)
• The Challenge for next month should be generic, as not everyone has access to zoom, macro, specialist lenses. It should be shots that everyone is capable of achieving with the bare essentials

Sorry for the delay in announcing the results... I was working on a short-list of the best entries and it took ages to get it down to the top three!

So - Guam and MonzaEvo, both photos are exactly the kind of thing I was after so well done!

Both photos are great. I think the slightly wonky horizon on the landing shot adds to the sense of "plane eye view" rather than just another landscape.
And the tortoise looks like it's daydreaming about its childhood . I would say you've captured the moment nicely - but I can't imagine it moved away all that fast!


And the winner is... Guam!

Well done. Really nice capture. I'm pretty sure it would have been the winner even if there had been more than two entries - It's exactly the kind of shot I was hoping for .
