Good quality private hire - Aberdeen / St Andrews
Discussion
Hi,
I'm wondering if anyone has any recommendations for a one off (return) private hire job.
Looking for decent, newish and large car with experienced, polite and unobtrusive driver.
Job would be as follows.
Thanks,
Eric

I used the above for taking myself, best man and one other to my wedding a few weeks ago. That was just a short, one-way run from Cove to Pittodrie House but cost was very reasonable (compared to some of the other quotes I had). Not sure how they'd stack up for your requirements but worth giving them a shout. We ended up in a long-wheelbase Audi A8 which was very comfortable, the driver was very pleasant and professional.

I travel one week tomorrow, home the next morning
Unlucky Murray as we are having a test day at Boyndie next Wednesday.
I could do with the practice, but on the other hand I will have my going home head on by that time, and be getting wired into the beer in the KLM lounge

Eric,
I know just the folk. Aberdeen Chauffer (sp?) Drive. Speak to Bill or Linda (Linda's mobile 07742628567). They do this work for me. You can even drop my company name (EnShip) in there.
I concur with James as I often used Bill @ http://www.aberdeenchauffeurdrive.com/index.htmI know just the folk. Aberdeen Chauffer (sp?) Drive. Speak to Bill or Linda (Linda's mobile 07742628567). They do this work for me. You can even drop my company name (EnShip) in there.
I know it's too late - but I agree with 8 bit. Highly recommended.
Used them quite a few times and never had a problem. Even when the weather's been bad they'll use a Disco 4 to ensure you get where you're going. Can't recommend them enough.

Thanks to everyone for their input to this.
I went out for quotes to a number of the firms suggested.
In the end, the job was given to " Auto Verdi".
They were an absolute pleasure to deal with from start to finish and I'd recommend them without hesitation.
I like to see someone trying something a bit different. It's also really pleasing to see them making a proper effort and getting things right.
Well done to them and I wish them every success.
Cheers,
Eric

Interesting - what vehicle did you end up getting ?
I believe it was a Vauxhall Ampera.crmcatee said:
I'd be interested to know what executive vehicles they provide that are seemingly environmentally friendly.
I don't think anyone said "executive" did they?Gassing Station | Scotland | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
