Seen 997, now deflated
Discussion
Finally found time to visit my local opc to see the new beast in the flesh. Gutted, it has less presence than my old C4s, interior is very good but as many of you have said, I too wanted more! I wanted fat j-lo hips, with a bullfrog squat, cant help but feel let down. I know its gonna be brilliant to drive and running costs are gonna be very reasonable, but its just not visually striking. Lets hope someone breaks out some curves for the turbo and gt versions.

Had a good look round one yesterday at one of our office's car parks.
I liked it. The front looks very 993 with the new lights (good thing) but the rear is still very 996 (not necessarily a bad thing). The interior I thought looked very nice, a lovely solid feel to it. Much like a contemporary 993. The stalks felt much better!
This was a C2, not an S. As a pure design alone, I really liked it.
Just MHO.

No, the piggy bank is still recovering from buying the 993!
I went to JCT600 in Leeds to pick up a turbo badge for mine, am taking it for painting tomorrow, am getting it sprayed the same black as the wheels.
Hope yours is running well, look forward to having the craic at BTaP.
Best Regards
Martyn.
