Just like a film sequel being better than the original, is there a remix that is better than the original?

I think there may be, Mike Shinoda's remix of Depeche Mode's Enjoy The Silence? I remember this as it was used by Top Gear when Clarkson reviewed the Golf GTI.

Is there any others?

IMO, pretty much every remix is terrible. There is one, and only one, exception:

Of all the remixes of that track, this one was my favourite! Nice pick, Stevie Bee.

Doesn't really get any better than that - it's one thing improving on the source material, another giving rise to arguably one of the first ever nods towards Trance as a genre! smile

And as to the OP, the 16B remix of Enjoy the Silence was less commercially available (probably because it goes on forever!) but is an absolute belter too!

Some people may not get it but Kruder& Dorfmiester have done remixes of ' useless' by Depeche Mode and 'Glorecki' by Lamb which I love! How do you do the link thing on an iPad?

This was what I thought of before I even opened the topic... Didn't Top Gear use this for the Ferrari 430 as well?

From my youth I remember the Thin White Duke remix of Mr Brightside being excellent.

Not sure if it was actually "good" or if I just took a liking to it.
