Received conflicting info regarding if this is possible as apparently they are specific to TVR and as such may not be serviceable like aftermarket Konis?

You would probably be better buying new. Not sure 20 year old shocks would be worth recon if at all you can?
Hope that helps

so much confusion surrounds replacement dampers, it is difficult to make a wise choice, then there is the cost..

When Harry at EVO couldn't see any worthwhile improvement (Gaz Gold?) spending a fortune on set-up too, then you have to wonder..

Never had an issue with mine (may seven still be ok, as now appears that it may be lack of thrust washers around wish mounts, due to shrunken bushes, that may be causing car to dart around) - Konis are pretty respectable and these have no corrosion or leaks + only 22k miles - so would be keen at c £50 per corner for re-fresh

Would consider Billstein, but not sure how they are matched to early springs (4.3 not 5.0) - found the 500 a little over damped (and 4.3 poss a little under)

Have a word with Ben Lang at Blackdown Automotive. Ben was suspension engineer at TVR and has had Bilsteins engineered specifically to TVR requirements.
