Alternative barrister employment in Yorkshire.

I've a friend who is a qualified barrister in Ireland, due to family relocation she is now living in Yorkshire and looking for employment in the legal field (I understand that you can't be a barrister in the UK without having requalified?), would love to hear some advice which I could offer to kickstart her career over here, perhaps something which she hasn't already considered.

My understanding is that she is very good at her job and would be an asset to any organisation.

Any hints, tips, offers and banter welcome
