Help Identifying US Spec Tail Light

Help! I'm have broken my Left Side Rear Tail Light, and need to find the original car from which TVR sourced the Tail Lights on the US Spec 280i/Tasmin. Below is a picture of the good/unbroken Right Side Rear. I search the forumed, and could only find references to the EU version, and the common from indicator lens. Closest match I could see visually was a Ford Transit Van from the 80's. This is on an 1983. Any help would be appreciated.

It looks as if it might be very similar to quite a number of lights of teh same era, i.e. Scimitar etc

I'll get any numbers and post them. The US light are slightly curved on the ends, unlike the squared off tail lights on the S and other TVR.

I suspect the Scimitar ones will be easier to get hold of and cheaper!

Why not use the Capri lights as in the later ones?? At least they would fill the holes that are there and are pretty readily available?

If they just fit, perhaps I should. Let me search for the original first as I would only need to replace the one lens instead of the whole pair of assemblies. Thank you all for the information. Much appreciated!
