just to confirm that Lee will be there also Dave our production supervisor will have his first outing in our second race car.
Stuart
Unfortunatly it now seems I won't be able to make this due to work commitments
- but good luck to all 3 of you! J
Lee didn't run in the end having qualified 2nd. Dave did us proud though when he came in second behind the westfield (Storming start). The race got red flagged early so didn't get to see them for very long unfortunately
Missed the endurance race at the end as needed to get home early so be interested to see how they went then against some of the other exotic machines.

Endurance race result
Well the Paul Cundy / David Mason Noble M12 finished first in its class ahead and 9th overall. I started from 4th row thanks to david's qualifying but the faster boys soon went opast and I then settled down behind a TR6 that was eventually second in our class. He was driving like a bloody madman, including shunting a historic Aston out of his way so I was a little intimidated and stayed behind him until he went into the pits leaving me a flying lap but the bugger only appeared out of the pit lane into Redgates before I got there!. I was in on the next lap and then David quickly got past him to take 1st place in the class.
Mid engined race.
I started 15th on the grid with my main rival a 355 Sports Cup Ferrari. He got a better start but then we had a great tussle for virtualy the whole race. He had more grunt on the back straight but through the Cramer curves and up the hill I was graduly getting closer and closer and had worked out how I was going to get round when the race was stopped. I was placed 13th but truth be told there were two spinners behind me so my real track position was 1 place lower than my statring position.
Still feeling the adrenalin..............
The 30 minute endurance race was like the best track day you've ever had but 10x over. Fantastic.
And the car ran like clockwork and still has its carpet and air con.

correction,
I am afraid I have to admit excessive enthusiasm, I thought we had been wrongly classified and had therefore been first of class "B" home hence the class win but in fact we were not (140% handicap as a turbo engine) so in fact we were not first in class "B" but finished in class "C" - I'll check were tonight.

Having seen Dave race before I think anyone attending on the day will be in for a good show though so keep your eyes peeled for him.
