Mid Essex is very active. They just post on the TVRCC forums mostly.

Give Jo a buzz, the regional RO and she can probably fill you in on what's going on.

Also depends on where in Essex you are. Tis a big place. I live in Essex for example, but go to Herts and Beds as its closer for me.

I'm north. 15 mins from Stanstead 20 mins from Colchester.

I seem to be away with work or on holiday everytime something is on. Bespoke and Thunder in the Tunnels for instance.

I'll make contact with Mid Essex. I really must renew my TVRCC membership after many years away.

Thanks Alex

I'm about 25 mins from Stansted as well, but more east. Mid Essex meet in Gt Totham, which is about an hour and a bit from Stansted.

Keep an eye on the PH Essex forum... there are plenty of mixed marque meets.

In particular the Hare on the first Saturday of each month, the Essex breakfast meet on the second Saturday and the Lodge on the third Thursday.

You sound like my kind of Bloke Lester, although Im a Hammer so can't stand Spurs, and would certainly like to meet up for a blat.

I see you're into MTB's. Do you have anything interesting?

Someone has to I suppose.. Going to be a bit lonely in the new Olympic Stadium for their supporter. Won't even have the away fans near him!

Very nice bike btw..

Early's good for me too, though not that early!!

Bought myself a stock Lapierre Zesty 516. Only problem was that year they sold with Rockshox.

Was going to spend on uprating bits and bobs then went and broke my Ankle! Its still not right and haven't been on the bike since. (Bottle gone)

Bought the TVR last Sept. so cash now spoken for.

You F'ing nutter!!!

Got to say you don't look 60. Must be the adrenalin keeping you young.

Sunday morning sounds like a plan. PM me your number and I'll phone you tomorrow evening?

My Zesty is black with lime accents. Lovely bike but the stock items are pretty crap apart from the Formula breaks and gobi seat.

I did buy some nice proper pedals for it, not the the clip on ones because I was worried about breaking my legs biggrin

In the end did my Tib, fib and dislocated my ankle falling down the bloody stairs!!!!

I use the clip in pedals and I'm so use to them now , they keep my knees straight as I'm bow legged.
How did you fall down the stairs, sounds painful both bones and the ankle damaged. I've broken a few bones in my life, maybe more to come.
Will pm you my number and maybe arrange a meet early Sunday
Lester
