Thinking of an E class cab E500 2010 anyone had / got one

Any good, anything I should know, it's one car to temporarily replace a 760 BMW and a SL55 for a couple of years.

Can't comment on the V8 except I'm sure it will be good. Apart from that, my 350 cab was an excellent car, only let down by scuttle shake. I couldn't put up with it thanks to the state of the roads so I sold it. It's not apparent on most roads, but on the road I drive down every day it ended up doing my nut in.

Pretty smooth round here plus Ive had the king of the shakers an early DB9 - nothing comes close.

Ive bought it now, just debating if I px the 760 or not - total spec and a total great deal - chuffed

Did you get the one off Autotrader for about 9K in black?

While juggling car options I was looking at an E500 coupe but also had your 760 on my list of possibilities!

I've only put the 760 in PH, I'm going to put it in the trader for a bit more £ as there are not many about and all are older than mine. Thing is its perfect now not a single issue so I'm pretty sure it will go once a more mainstream buyer type sees it.

It's very social, never been able to go out with 4 and topless - a nice experience.
This week it's been so hot I've had he hood up and n AC on!!

Ok good stuff:
Engine rumbles beautifully and is as fast as you need, it doesn't feel slower than the sl55
Seats are comfy
Rigidity is better than expected, minimal shudder
Lovely steering wheel
Great on juice
Kids love it


Not so good
No keyless go - you miss it once you've had it
Small car it's not an E class but its bigger than a 3 or A4
Tiny wheels supplied 18" look lost
Hard plastic everywhere
No easy entry slide seat
Comand cd hd drive is overly complicated - I can't suss it


It's a good car, but its for the mrs not me and if it didn't have the V8 it would be gone already
