Anyone got any recipes for this bird?

I was wondering what to do for tea tomorrow and they had some of these reduced. Might as well give it a go. So any tips would be gratefully received!

Spatchcock, season and chuck them on the BBQ.

Cheers guys.

Was unsure if there would be any different ways to treat them compared to an adult bird.

As above, spatchcock and BBQ.

The easiest way of doing this is to snip out the spine on each side with kitchen scissors, then turn the bird over breast side up and squash it flat with the heel of your hand.

An absolutely banging marinade for chicken is the following. It sounds odd but really works:

1 grated onion
2 tsp chopped fresh rosemary
1 tbs smoked paprika
1 tsp salt
200 ml olive oil

To get the rub in to the meat rather than the skin.

ahh... i thought you'd done a bad job of dispatching the chicken yourself.
