I'm about to go for a full detailing (correction/G-techniq or similar) on my 911 and am looking for recommendations in this area. I've used Ultimate Shine Auto in Stirling for valeting of my DDs and they've done a good job and been friendly and helpful, but I'm looking for any specific recommendations/endorsements of them or of anyone else in the area.

Thanks.

I have worked on classic cars for over 40 years now and have judged at concours.

This guy is the best in the business and I will use no one else.

I compete at National Concours level with my cars and use Ultimate in Stirling. Without doubt, they know EXACTLY what they are doing and are well used to working to full concours level on extremely high value cars. Have no qualms about using them.

Thanks all - I have heard good things about RGK and Defined, but Ultimate are *much* closer to hand and I do have a good feeling about them, which you've confirmed, so here goes - need to get it done as I've got a slot in the Supercar park at the FoS in July, and can't be letting the Porkers down :-)

Probably a bit late with this reply but just another recommendation for Ultimate Shine Autos. I had a full correction (after a bad "waterless" experience) and G Techniq treatment done on my black Boxster, and the guys did a tremendous job. Also delighted with the G Techniq products they applied, after 8 months the car is really easy to clean, repels dirt and water, and is very resistant to swirl marks etc. First thing I do when I buy my next new car is take it straight up there for the same thing. On top of that, both really nice guys and were very accommodating as to keeping my car a few days extra when I couldn't collect etc.

Both I and my father have used - http://www.theultimateshine.com/

Paul is the guy that does the work, he's absolutely fantastic, takes him a good 3-4 days but the results are phenomenal. The photo's of my old mans 430 Scud, Diablo and RS200 show just what a great job he does. Would really recommend him.

Well, got my 911 back from Ultimate Shine Auto in Stirling after a stage 1 correction and the full Gtechniq treatment (ahead of Goodwood) and it would be quite an understatement to say that I'm well pleased with both the end result and with the care that Clive and his guys have given the car. Nice one, gentlement…

Thanks for the kind words, we do just try our best for the customer. We both enjoy cleaning cars and have been lucky to find customers whom enjoy the level of service we think people deserve, which has definitely been missing in the valeting/detailing business around Stirlingshire for a while now, in our quest to raise our game we had my talent "enhanced" to Master Detailer Level by Kelly Harris of KDS KELTEC last summer.
