I dunno if this will work, quite possibly it will sink without trace but....
One thing which makes me mad is fly tipping - and hopefully you too. A few months ago we were taking a stroll at a local beauty spot/place of interest on the Lancs and Yorks border, in the car park high up on the moors some
had dumped a broken up bright blue asbestos garage.
It only occurred to me afterwards that I should have got a pic and someone *might* just recognise it and it could have led to a conviction, afterall, if you had a neighbour or drove past someone knocking down a blue garage you might remember....
And so to yesterday when I drove past this:
A quite bizarre looking thing and there was a double-glazed-unit with it too, anyone recognise it and what the heck is it?!! Presumably a hearth maybe and not some kind of grave covering?
Any other very distinctive flytips out there?

Fly tipping is an absolute disgrace, any kind of littering is and to some it is completely acceptable. The amount of times I follow someone who just throws litter down or out of the car window is unbelievable. McDonalds packaging seems to be the worse for me and is one of the main reasons I won't use it, along with their food being shyt3.
However, my cars are generally two seaters and for anything over the need for two seats I have a van. The van is point blank refused at any tip because it's commercial, I am allowed at one in Wakefield where I must turn up with log book, utility bills etc and fill some forms in and I am allowed to deposit some (not a lot) rubbish. It's a good half hour from me and you can guarantee that whatever bills you turn up with aren't suitable or the rules have changed and you'll need a passport or something. Needles to say I don't bother, but as a respectable law biding citizen, this means that I have a shed fill of st and have a skip from time to time.
What I'm saying is that the local governments make it intentionally difficult to dispose of waste so that businesses don't get out of paying for the disposal of it thus losing them revenue and taxes. It's the over zealous policing of waste disposal that makes it difficult for the everyday man to dispose of their waste for free and the less ethical among us simply think sod it, I'll just dump it at the side of the road and they can collect it from there.

I live on a single track road (granted a long way from Yorkshire!) and we must get fly-tippers once a month. Thankfully our council are pretty good at coming to clear it up. I've never thought to get a pic, although I did spot some travellers in a transit tipper just about ready to leave a delivery and sent them packing (I guess to another lane not far away).
I have a little van and if I 'apply' to the county council, I can get a permit to use it at the rubbish tip for our own rubbish (although I've known the staff at the tip to scrutinise what I'm carrying).
