Are timings from all makes of transponder picked up by the track timing (TSL usually) people? New to this. Had to hire a transponder last time out.

Same here, £30 a go! AMB are picked up by TSL (SMART in Scotland). I hinted at one for a prezzy and ended up with two. You can email me at [e-mail]

There's a few on eBay at the moment.

Not sure all makes work with TSL - best to ask them - they're very good at responding to emails.
