Hi after months of thinking about it I've taken the plunge and bought myself a 2.5 M12 1 owner with 7k miles on the clock. Iam a complete novice when it comes to these cars but it does look so good on my drive and turns heads wherever I take it. I plan on going to as many car shows/meets as I can fit in so it would be great to meet some of you.
I've noticed that I've got an exhaust leak where the pipe connects to the engine so if any one has got any ideas what it might be it would be much appreciated
Thanks

If its just a leak from gasket then try first of all tightening the bolts as they have a tendency to come loose. If still leaking try new gaskets.

Thanks m8 I will try that first before I take it to get looked at. let's hope it's nothing worse than a gasket

Congratulations.
Upon my search I spoke with Mole Valley, who were aware of that car and wanted to handle the sale for the owner.
They were disappointed not to get the opportunity, but I understand it's in immaculate condition.

I pick up my new M12 on Monday! Can't believe how long the wait seems counting the days. As it's now just past midnight....3 days to go. smile

The next 3 days will fly by your soon be behind the wheel and your have the biggest smile on your face. There is something about these cars that does that to a man lol it's like pulling a fit bird and showing her off to your mates for the first time

Nice one - welcome to the Nobility! Fantastic in yellow and yours looks in super condition... I'd have bought it if it wasn't for a lack of garage space (oh, and money but, well... ).

the 2.5 exhaust is only fitted to the 2.5... later cars had a slightly different system.

saying that the exhaust manifold gasket is simply a ford mondeo item, its good quality and metal. The turbo to exhaust is a slightly more complicated one and is not a ford item (maxda I think on a 3l model?).

we will be at the Children Trust Supercar day on Saturday.. probably arrive around 10:30am. I will bring the Noble, mine is Grey, also a 2.5 but with a twin exhaust (I think off a 3.0)..

I will be there on the sat also. Unfortunately I'm having some mapping done and it won't be ready to take along frown

I think we should swap some numbers as this sounds like a 2.5 owners meet. Lol

OP, welcome.

Has the car had all the necessary upgrade?

I'm now in my 8th year with the 2.5 smile

Hi Bondy
If you see me at the show stop by and say hi be good to meet up with fellow 2.5 owners as I need as much advice as I can get on these lovely cars.

As far as I know the car is completely standard so any advice would be good as long as I don't have to put my hand too far into my empty pocket for a few months lol
