So I bought myself a nice indoor car cover to protect the V8V from dust etc.

I have a worry though: how will it react to the still hot exhausts/brakes after a drive ... should I maybe not put it on straight away? Imagine if it goes up in flames!!!
The garage is not directly at my house though so I don't want to gave to go back there later just to put the cover on...
Even though I bought the cover in the US there seems to be no warning label on it or anything - they should be made out of a flame-retardent material, RIGHT ?!?
any thoughts?
