Dolphins at Aberdeen Beach

I got a superb view of the dolphins at Aberdeen Beach late afternoon today - just before 18:00.

This was between Codona's and Fittie.

We went back later and they were still there but a bit further out although we got another decent view from Torry Battery.

Worth seeing so keep your eyes peeled if you're down that way.

Anyway, this post has served its porpoise so I'll move on.

There was a pair of them really close to the beach tonight.

We were watching them between the second and third last groynes at the Fittie end (beside that burger trailer) - around 20:30.

I've never seen them so close and I was surprised how big they are.

Superb!

If you are ever up in Morayshire , easy to see dolphins most days very close to the beaches and harbours at Hopeman & Burghead...

Interesting, as sitting here in the livingroom of my flat, I'm looking at the back of Codonas and over the sea

Might have a wee wander out later seeing as it's a nice evening
