TVR has been SOLD
Discussion
Lots of speculation here

There is even a post identifying the potential new owner!
For me they have to go back to their roots and build a no frills, no nonsense sports car at a sensible price. No sense in going up against the lotus elise, porker cayman or ferrari's of the world. Biggest threat would be LNT and the Ginetta boys I think. As per my post in the above link -
If I were in the lucky (unlucky ???) position I'd -
License the Dax cobra chassis and camber compensation system
Get hold/remake of the moulds for the T350/Tamora - tidy them up a bit
Use the following range of engines -
Base - 350/370Z 320HP
Mid - LS3 430 HP stock
High - LS7+cam 550HP stock
This would be a good place to start and probably find enough buyers if the prices ranged from £35k to £55k and should have no real gotchas as the chasis is proven, engines are stock and the body is a well known and IMO still a good looking car. I even think you could make 20% on each car sold after initial set up of the small production line.
Keep it small, keep it simple, keep it fun, don't try and rule the world and concentrate on the customer and product quality - can't go wrong.
All the very best of British to the new owner, look forward to seeing the fruits of your labour.

Agree with all this but I think the engine choice is too limited. All these options are BIG power options. With the Vixen there was a 1300/4, 1600/4, 2500/6, 3000/V6 & 4700/V8. A much better spread and sometimes small engine, light weight sports cars are just great fun - think MX5. Also, can't remember production numbers but I'd guess the small engined Vixens outsold the large engine versions?Use the following range of engines -

Anyway, whoever, whatever it's got to be a step forward from the Smolenski era - the king is dead, long live the king!

B, you should go to cars and coffee in the morning...it is an all British meeting. I will not be there as we are having probes with a water well.

On edit: If it is, I read your message after the event was wrapped up (which happens to be before I got out of bed).
P.S. Good luck with the well.
P.P.S. Recent one around the corner from me had a Super 7 with a Cossie BDP engine, and one after had an Otto Vu. Then, I saw an Elva Courier, just driving through the neighborhood. Liking this place.
