There are clearly many posters here who have, have had, or want to have (not so worried about these) certain cars of what ever colour, creed, or engine configuration.
Any chance of a kick up the backside to remind peeps to spend a few minutes filling their garage? It's always their choice of course.

yes, you're right you can't force people to fill them in BUT you could make it easier and encourage people to do it - ie post the best updates on the home page etc.
i've long thought that this was an underutilised area of the site - it's basically unchanged from when ted set it up 10 years ago. Look at david yu's auto-journals.com - its essentially just a "my garage" blog site.

Inclined to agree, that it is an under-utilised area of the site. We're about to start encouraging people to fill them in more often and the first step has been some data cleaning which has been going on in the background. Some of you may have received a "please login to your profile page" type email recently, of which this was a part.
We do use the garage data to invite people to private events with manufacturers from time to time (and not just high end supercar manufacturers) so it certainly pays to tell us what car you drive and to keep it up to date.
