Would like to come, but cant get in touch with craigw.

Late intrest I know, but the car is eager to stretch its legs before the weather sets in.

If there is space for another at VMAX let me know, the Tus could do with a VMAX

Cheers
Nick

Would 0430 hours equate to 0330 hours current time? If so, I'm sure we could recalibrate to 0445 hours on the day itself.

Dear me, the things one has to do for one's art!

Any Yorkshirists coming, remember that once out of your home county, there are some strange things you may encounter along the way.

Like chairs.

Ferrets uber alles.

4:45am? This means I will have to rise from my roost at 3:15am to get over the 'other side'. Though do not fear fellow Yorkers I will bring supplies of Tetleys tea bags, Buxton water, and string vests for us whilst we are out of our 'hood.

Yes, we shall see strange things after crossing the border to the Pennies....the most shocking thing of all is that DeR is actually Fred Dibnah Below is a picture of DeR beside his beetle

His smile is vaguely worrying though?

s'alright, I can go out in Sheffield, get absolutely pasted, grab a kebab on the way back to Rob's house and get straight into the car.....

because I'm not driving!

Seriously, are you really going over to the M6 for that unGodly hour? I'll have to set off even earlier to get from my place to Rob's!

Out of interest, what time does it start ?

Surely, on a Sunday morning its only a couple of hours away at most, so 4am seem a tad early.

Breakfast ? At that time on a sunday morning I will have only just finished eating (sub-way sandwiches are great after beer)

The thought had crossed my mind Rob... just got clearance from ground control for the day... I'm sure if I mention the fact that I'll be waking her up at 3am stomping around she'll be only too pleased to boot me out the night before

I'll let you know

Tried calling you back but got answer phone - I presume it was about this.

Gents,

I rather thought we might be able to rise fractionally later, maybe meeting at 0530 hours?

The only danger is the possibility of pleb infraction sullying the jaunt Thomas-wards...The more I think about it, 0500 has a certain quality of launchability.

It's always great catharsis to take a chair at Thomas Towers, making merry with a gang of people of a quality of consistence not assembled since Agincourt, quoffing on a copious mound of perfectly prepared bacon butties, sipping perfectly prepared cafe and wondering which of the usual suspects will burble, roar or splutter into earshot and then glorious view, first?

(It's usually Guy in his Ultima, audible from about 27 miles. )
