Hi fellas, I'm hoping to be in the market for a well looked after 3R in a couple of weeks, I'm quite fortunate to be living near Kerridges. Is it just me or does their stock of cars they've got there just not shifting very quick? Obviously there pricing is at the higher end because of who they are and the service they offer, but is it probably a bit too high? And if you were buying one what sort of deal would you expect for your money (being realistic without taking the p)? cheers John.
Hi John I brought mine from there about a year ago and it's a great place to buy from. You'll pay about 1 to 2 thousand less than mole valley and there good at getting it just right for you. They prob don't sell a lot but won't sell cheap just to get rid of their stock which is a good thing. My car hasn't lost any money in the last year so can't be bad

So you think you could sell it for what you brought it for?M12 depreciation, after ten years, seems to have levelled out at approx. 50-60% We should all be well chuffed 
The average loss of a new car after three years is 60% (AA/ Car Dealer) - and then a further 20% a year. So, this would make a ten year old M12 worth around £5450
FYI, read the following article...
"Supercars retain their value better than most, with the Audi R8 and Ferrari 430 dropping less than 29% over four years, and the Lamborghini Gallardo decreasing by only 31%."
- But they don't say what the number is over ten years.
An interesting comment here...
"The study also showed that Leicester is the cheapest city in the UK to buy a used car in 2013, with the average popular motor £544 cheaper than other UK cities."
- Maybe Noble newbies should be ringing up Leicester dealers for a Nob bargain

So you think you could sell it for what you brought it for?Yep i agree prices have not dropped since i became an owner( five years ago) in fact i think mine has gone up in value even without the mods I've done.
A dealers going to want £5k+ margin on such a car, especially with length of time it can take to sell, any repaired needed etc. So you potentially lose that the moment you drve off the forecourt, if you wanted to sell back to trade.
However if you buy privately at a fair price, no reason you can't sell for similar money down the line.
Just my 2p based on my dealings with sport cars, plus research on what people have sold Nobles to trade for in last couple of years.

of cause mine is modded heavily now so who knows what the values of these kind of cars are.
Here's my 2p - if you want a Noble now, go and look at what's advertised. If you're willing to wait an infinite time until 'the perfect car' hits the market then do that. Don't baulk at the prices listed if they're all similar to one another and relevant to spec. These cars appeal to a very small market and fortunately there's very few of them in existence so if you want one you'll just have to pay the price.
Mine didn't come from Kerridges but I did visit them when i was searching and they were great.
Remember they're not on every street and in thousands of specialist dealers, you're not buying a 911. If you pass one up that suits you but is a couple of grand dearer than you 'think' it should be, what's to say the next one you like isn't 4 grand too dear?

Personally I'd say an average mileage (which I'd call 6k/yr on something of this ilk) GTO should be 18-20k this summer. GTO3 around 22-26, 3R poss 25-30 and M400 start at 40.
