Having spent the afternoon testing two lovely examples of a Cerbera and Tuscan, I pleased, delighted and pretty damn satisfied to jump back into my Chim and blast it home. Though these other two fine examples of TVR motoring might have a tad more horses, and handle a little differently through the bends, I have to say in all honesty that neither gave me the grin that driving home with the roof down, and the V8 rumbling did. They way it rumbled through the sleepy villages, and the manner it stretched it legs on the back A roads was just great. Maybe a little more time behind the wheel of the other two cars might bring the same satisfaction as you learn their quirks and mannerisms (and just learn to use 390bhp), but for today at least I am stoked to own a Chimaera. (Though that T350 does still look awesome, and I can’t promise I won’t look at the Tuscan again sometime soon). So please, charge your glasses ‘Here's to the Chim.’

Indeed. A car so loveable that the Mrs has refused to replace it for over five years...

"The Chimaera"...

Although I think the Tuscan Convertible might do it...but until she hears the engine note and likes it it just ain't going to happen...
