I should, but can't remember where this is located. I can visualise it, but where? Its a 4.3 precat.

Passenger side of gearbox. Exhaust off job to get to it.

Thanks for the information.
The speedo was flicking and then failed completely, but the alternator had coincidently failed as well. It turned out to be one of the smaller wires ( brown/yellow ) to the alternator which had all but broken. Once I had remade the solder joint both faults disappeared.
