Have just had confirmed my worst fears by my local Police. The 400se sold to me by main TVR dealer(ex now)Brundle TVR is stolen.

Do you get any comeback from the delaer for that? haven't they sold you stolen property, which is illegal? ... If they sold you something that they weren't entitled to sell then presumably your contract for the sale is invalid and they must refund you ... I think?

Tough luck, however that goes you'll be looking for a new one I suppose

I fear that 'Brundle TVR the official franchised dealer' may be a different legal entity from 'Brundle the non-franchised dealer'. IE they might have closed one company and started another. If so, the liabilities of the former may have gone down the pan. One for Trading Standards I think.
