The E3 2013 thread

So this time of the year has come again, sooner than I thought (quite possibly that I forgot when it was on)

the time of year to see all the new upcoming games, proper information on the new consoles hopefully, what the big few dev's think on this thing on the no used games on the XBOX one, and if they plan on doing it with the PS4.

at the time of this post, the live feeds will be starting in 1 day and 20 hours. yet game's twitter said it will begin at 7pm tomorrow.

not too sure, will be checking first tomorrow at 7 and then in 1 day and 20 hours, and times inbetween. the official e3 site says 12pm start on the 11th.......

not sure when that is in uk time exactly as e3 is in California.

anywho... so who is going to be watching the live feeds? and what is your thought on the games and info that have been leaked so far.

A little info so far on E3 news.

do you think that Kiefer sutherland will be the right choice for the new snake voice in the upcoming metal gear as thats what has been said so far..... I am unsure if it is, but on the fence. if he can pull it off and he doesnt just do metal gear 24, it might be good.

there is going to be a new super smash brothers for the WII U, and a new zelda for it, possably a wind walker style.

anyone have any other news that has been leaked?

It should be the most exciting in nearly a decade. I'm looking forward to some big reveals and further details on the next gen. Microsoft seem to have shot themselves in the foot somewhat by focussing on the all-in-one multimedia, social networking box so expect them to try to make amends with some big game titles. The PS4 is where it's at though. They've had time to put together a big show after their early reveal months ago.

For the love of God, Bethesda better show Fallout 4.

The comments, everyone thinks it's real live footage for along while.

I think it took me about 3 seconds.

It's very very nice though... but I do wonder what the point of it is. CGI openers do set the mood very nicely but in-game engines are pretty good for cut-scenes these days and for me I find them even more indicative of the quality of the whole system if they can pull of an intro movie in that way!


So what is Watch Dogs about then? I've not heard/seen anything but I'm hoping it's an immersive single player type game

£399 based on nothing but guess work :-/ Cost of the components are probably very similar, PS4 doesn't have to factor in a kinect.

Loved the BF4 multiplayer trailer!!! Very 'set up' but still awesome, liked the jet ski's, sky scrapers falling down etc, alot more building damage than BF3. that commander mode looks interesting. Not sure if its for PS3 tho.
