Nope, not just you. Mine have gone up a size too. Think it's as you get heavier perhaps?

Have you got any fatter? If so, that maybe your answer - your feet got wider. smile

I thought so too. I came back from holiday once and thought my old shoes were all a bit tight. Didn't bother looking into it anymore than that though.

You stop growing in your early twenties so depends on your definition of adulthood, I'd be shocked if mys feet grew anymore at 29.

Ha. Yes, your bone structure has probably stopped but that doesn't mean the fat storage... or indeed muscles will have stopped growing.

Yeah, I don't think you can put much fat on your toes/heel, but definitely get wider... wider feet, more stretch sideways which means the length gets shortened.

Aye - I suppose it then becomes an issue of trying to find wider shoes rather because when shoes go up in size they go wider and longer... I suppose some manufacturers build wider shoes for the same size? (Certainly, that's how it is in climbing footwear.)

Foot cancer.

Good luck. It is rare and serious if bilateral.

The bones will stop growing somewhere between 16 and 21ish (blokes later) but between that age and 70 or so you can expect to gain up to a shoesize and a half - probably due to creep in soft tissues

Mine have gone from a 11 to 11.5, now they are a 12. I've been doing a lot of ultra distance runs and I've had to increase the size due to my feet getting longer and the big toes rubbing.
