Detailed Team Information

A few years back I seem to remember that Autosport did a Le Mans supplement with full entrant team listings with pictures of each car etc.

Every year I also seem to see local frenchies with newspaper supplements with similar team details and car profiles.

Does anyone know of anything similar out or coming out in the UK motorsport press?

Autosport do a supplement every year, I think it will be the issue out this week.

The local French press do special editions. the Friday edition will have entry and grid order. The Sunday will show the retirements up until they go to press. These can be brought from the newspaper vendors around the track. Le Monde is one paper, I cannot recall the other. (la Seine?) about E10 will get the paper and some free gifts, poster, cap, key-ring etc

Also Clubarnarge.com do a full Le Mans guide with the complete entry list as well.

which will be very handy trackside with photos and driver info.

There appears to be a joint preview guide being done by the DailySportscar and L'Endurance websites (with spotter's guide from Andy Blackmore) launched later this week. It's sponsored by Nissan (what isn't ) so I expect it will be gratis.

I am also doing a spotters' guide with cars and helmets.. example below... later this week I will make a post on this forum .. Stephen will not be doing his guide.

The photos are going to be updated this week - there are some which are still out-of-date, as those teams hadn't yet taken to the track this side of the Atlantic as yet.. but have now of course - during the Test Day weekend that has just happened. We had someone trackside on Sunday taking photos, once those are uploaded and available to me I will adjust them for the App and update it.

Please do let me know if there are any issues with the App by PM. Last minute updates will happen next Monday as well, to mop up any info. that changes etc..

Please can you review the App and give a rating (although shakesfist at Google as you now need to have a Google+ profile to leave such things, which is going to be counterproductive in that area, for a while at least..)

Admittedly the blurb about the teams needs updating, it's going to be updated this week as well!

ETA : App now updated, all photos up-to-date and Driver Lineups completed.
