Reverse light switch on Rover box

I noticed today that my reverse lamps only flash on briefly when selecting reverse, does the Rover box switch have any depth adjustment/locknut arrangement?
Not had a chance to get under there yet, just got back from MOT station,straight through with no advisories. It was when I saw it back off the ramp I realised the reverse lamps were playing up.

Yes = the switch is threaded into a boss secured by a locknut to allow for adjustment. real pain to get to on the Wedge from underneath, mainly because of the exhaust box. You need to pull the bullet connectors apart first to allow the switch to turn freely. Not easy with one hand.
