how to swap a 2l Ts in a 1,7 146 ??

Hi guys I just bought a 146 1.7 and wanted to swap a 2 twin sparks from the 2 Ti!! What do I have to do to make it happen?? Tks

did the ts come with a 'box? if is did just hammer it in

With it being a 1.7 it'll have the boxer engine in it. This means a swap to a t-spark will not be simple. The front suspension, gearbox, driveshafts, subframe etc will all likely be different. It would cost more to convert it than it would to buy a 146ti / 145qv!

In addition, why would you want to? The boxer engined 145's and 146's are relatively sought after from what I've seen.

Easy? it would depend on your perspective I guess. Do-able, perhaps but aside from the obvious mechanical differences, the wiring, engine management and instruments may also be different, as may be the bulkhead...

I'd ask on the 145 forum.

Not trying to be funny but why would you want to do that ... Having owned dozens of Alfas the 146 was probably the most anonymous of them all...... Why not just buy a subaru or a 146ti in the first place.

Sorry if I sound critical but if you were discussing a Busso V6 or something similar then i could relate to the project
