Crippling Head Pain After a Fall...

2 weeks ago went over the bars of my MTB on a downhill and fell onto my left shoulder & left side of my head. Proper head down, feet up landing which wrenched my head to the right. No-one was laughing! I bailed out of the run and went home feeling light headed and very mildly nauseous.
Fast-forward to last Wednesday, shooting pains up left side of head, dizzy when I stand up & and endless headache. No pain killers working and I have some good 'uns!!
Saw doc Fri morning, he thought broken bone in sinuses and perhaps internal bleeding and sent me for ct scan that afternoon. Scan showed clear. This weekend has been stressful and overshadowed by endless headache 'dead centre' of my head. When I stand up quickly it feels like after a second or three that when the blood rushes back into my head it's pressing on something that gives me searing, eye-watering pain for a few seconds and then settles down into 'just' a really bad headache.
Off to see GP again this aft.
(Yes I was wearing a helmet, but it didn't matter as I landed on my ear/jaw!)
Anyone got any sage advice on something like this???
