Block Honing - Aberdeen Area

Can anybody recommend a good machine / engine shop where I can get a block honed? Preferably in the Aberdeen area but I'm willing to travel further afield if necessary.

Definitely agree with this. Lovely gent runs the shop, quite old school in some ways. When I re built my Astra, I took the head round to have a professional eye cast over it. Head was fine and I was asked "have you put a hone through the barrels"

"Nope".

"Well here's some honing tools (he gave me two sizes) to borrow. Take it back when your finished" - No charge for that. All I paid for where stretch bolts and the time taken to inspect the head.

Head bolts were cheaper from him than Vauxhaul or Dingbro.
