Thought about skimming the disks.

I will certainly check the power steering fluid...
Engine oil is fine - how would this affect anything anyway?

I will be taking it too my local indy for a check over soon anyway - hopefully he can sort the brakes out.

Oh and there is another one of those wonderful noises. There is a high pitched clicking coming from the rear right of the car - first thought was a relay of some kind but nothing seems to be playing up and it sounds in the cabin...

cheers for that.....i will check the oil - although a few weeks ago it was on max mark (i know they arent the most accurate).Car has done 1k since 24k service so i would expect PAS levels to be ok.

Joolz is very local to me so if that doesnt resolve it then hopefully he can weave his magic!

Did the sub myself. Lot of messing around making the enclosure, but it worked out fine. I put the amp is in the boot.

I had similar groaning on my Lancia. The fluid was full but looked a little old. I changed the fluid and have had no problems since. A clue whether this might help was that mine was worse when the oil was hot.
