OOPS

my mouse accidentally slipped onto the buy it now button on the auction.
I am hopefully going to pick them up tomorrow, I reckon they will look good on my silver wedge, especially once it has been resprayed.

This one will have 15s soon.
I think those 5 spoke alloys look a lot nicer than the standard multispoke jobbys and will be easier to keep clean etc
Apart from the aesthetic reasons I reckon it will be easier to find decent tyres for a 15" rim than the standard 14s and I absolutely hate having st tyres on a car, my 280 has four brand new nankang tyres which are just rubbish, I managed to leave a long smoky line up the road setting off from a meet the other day, fast main road and a little bit of loose chippings meant I set off like a proper boy racer lol, and I managed to get the arse of the car out in the dry doing a u turn on the way to that meet

With the aid of google I did find some OZ wheel centres but I want to actually measure the hole in the middle before I go buying stuff again.

They are probably going to sit in the shed until I get the respray then I can do the complete change in one go

Just picked these wheels up from a very nice (but certifiable) bloke called Angelo.
They came of his S1 fhc wedge that he picked up for a few quid just before it was going to be craned onto the roof of a factory building so it could be used as an advert for a car wash!

His wedge is a little bit different to the norm, it is fully caged up and has had a minor engine upgrade.

2.8v6 out and a 6 litre v8 ford lump put in biggrin

It was in bits when I saw it as he managed to destroy his clutch on the first launch in anger with the mahoosive drag slicks on it

Oh and the wheels have been very recently refurbished, no scuffs or kerb marks and the tyres are absolutely brand new!

I think I know him Andy

He used to have the best engine compartment I have ever seen on his Chimp

Look forward to see him draging his new car
He said he may bring it to BBWF

I take it these wheels are from the wedge that was at the waterloo carwash in huddersfield,if so i think the tyres will be around 5 years old
