Swirl pot - what's inside?

Hello!
I want to install water swirl pot (was removed by someone), but... I want to make one by myself. Anyone can tell me what's inside? Is it empty or got some pipes or plates?

Maybe someone got/can make pictures/photos?

Do you want the swirl pot in the photo's? Was given to me, think it's ok.

I know this picture but I believe in my 2.8 thermostat is near water pump with cool water from radiator (capri) and the pump is different.

Anyone got S280? Is there a difference in cooling system?

My S1 2.8 is the same but does not have the extra take off half way down, just the two big take off at the top and bottom, one small 3/16 in the collar and one 1/2inch just below.

I sent Ebay Seller Cater7man KeTVRin's old S2 swirl pot as a pattern.

Also Steve Reid did have some stock although I'm not sure what.

I can't remember Steve's PH id The Gamekeeper or something but couldn't find it.

I still have some "S" series parts left but when they are gone they are gone. For the time being anyway.

Steve. Is the steering rack the same as that fitted to the V8S? I have just been advised mine has a small amount of play in it. If that would fit then I could be interested.

What do you have at the moment? If the car runs fine without it why do you want one?
As we say in the Uk, "if it ain't broke don't try and fix it"
There is a problem with the standard swirl pot design and the routing of the pump bypass hose which causes over cooling. You may already have a better system.

Hmmm... maybe You are right. Cooling system works nice. I'll take some photos how it looks like.
