Have I made a schoolboy error

Having not been the person who lifted the body off my car I cannot remember if it was done with the manifolds on r not. I.ve put them back on and when I've changed the heat shield I will be ready to drop the body back on. The question is can I drop the body on with the manifolds attached? I think not, but would be happy to be told otherwise....
